A Community Interest Group
We have already secured a property in Windsor Terrace with its spectacular views of the Avon Gorge, and are working towards acquiring another property in Windsor Place, a house with windows on two sides and equally splendid views.
We have provided permanently affordable homes for 10 people already, sharing Council Tax, garden and laundry facilities in this wonderful Georgian house, which will belong permanently to our Society in the Interests of the Community.
We have set out to demonstrate that, by co-operating, we can rescue really beautiful
houses, even in high-cost areas, from the hands of speculators
Mutual building societies were groups of people pooling their income and resources progressively to house their members. We aim to recreate that spirit.
